Q: Is there anything I need to do to my home prior to Pest Control treatment?
A: Your technician will advise you to remove pet food, water dishes, exposed food items, and children’s toys from areas he needs to treat. If there are active pests indoors, other items may need attention.
Q: Is it safe for my pet to go outside after spraying?
A: Every pesticide requires that pets and people avoid treated surfaces until dry. This is the minimum standard for all products. Once dry, the material will not be easily transferred to paws or human skin.
Q: How long will I need to leave my home?
A: The length of time depends upon the type of pest and the action taken. Some procedures don’t require the residents to leave their home, while others require you to leave for up to 3 hours. If we are using baits you will not have to leave. However, if we are spraying or fogging you will have to be out of the house for at least 2 to 3 hours.
Q:Can I take care of my pest problems myself?
A: In some instances, yes. Retail products that are available, if used properly, can control pest issues. In other cases a professional pest control operator, who will be in possession of equipment and materials that are not available to the average person, will be better suited to address the your needs.
Q: What is the value of having a regularly scheduled pest service even when I don’t see pests in my house?
A: A regularly scheduled pest service will stop pests BEFORE they become a problem. It allows our technician to watch for and spot possible signs of pest activity and act immediately to eliminate any threat or damage that may occur.
